Overview

Explore Musandam Fjord through the eyes of ancient seafarers who plied this route for centuries by motorised Dhows (very basic). There is a possibility to swim off the dhow (caution is advised when getting in and out of the water via the dhow’s ladder). Swim wear is acceptable for this tour only

Khasab Dhow Cruise

Pick-up from Khasab Port main exit door to start your Khasab Dhow Cruise. After boarding your traditional Omani Dhow pier side, the cruise will take you toward Musandam’s longest and most spectacular fjord, which is often referred to as ‘Norway of the Arabia’ calm, turquoise waters contrast with the creamy white limestone cliffs. Along the way you will pass small fishing villages and perhaps even encounter dolphins. The dhow will anchor in the vicinity off Telegraph Island, allowing you to take a swim or just sit back and enjoy soft drinks, tea or coffee while admiring breath taking views of mountains rising in the distance to over 600 meters. After the tour leisurely cruise back to Khasab Port main Gate

Pick-up at the Port Main Gate. Please catch the shuttle bus (free of charge) from the cruise exit door to the port main gate
The Port Authority provide a shuttle bus service from the cruise terminal to the main Port gate.
The guide/driver will meet you with a sign (Company Name or your Name).

Cancellation Policy

In case you cancel your trip the following scale of charges will be applied

From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged
Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged
Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged
Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged
